Skilyo works to keep the platform free of scams and fake listings. Please read these tips — they protect you.

Skilyo will never ask you to pay

We will never ask a candidate to pay for training, equipment, a “deposit”, or to get a job. No legitimate employer on Skilyo will either. Anyone who does is a scam — stop and report it.

Red flags

• Requests for money, bank details or ID very early in the process.
• Offers that arrive with no interview, or unrealistic pay for little work.
• Communication only via personal email or messaging apps, with urgency ("reply in 24 hours").
• Vague job descriptions or a company you can’t verify.

How we protect the marketplace

• Employers set up a company profile before posting; we verify company details.
• Job content is screened, and "pay-to-apply" style posts are removed.
• You can report any job or profile that looks suspicious.
